Any image or video clip in a template design can be enabled for dynamic replacement.
To make an image or video element dynamic:
- Add asset to project footages, name, and label green
- Create new layer with footage using the same name and label green
- Pre-compose the layer to add effects and transformations
Detailed Steps
To make an image or video element dynamic:
- Add your asset to the project footages, name it (see naming conventions) consistent with the expected feed column name, and apply the green label to indicate you want it to be dynamic.
- Drag the footage to a new layer in your composition and apply the green label to the layer. The layer name and footage name must match.
- Pre-compose the dynamic layer. This creates a “container” layer for effects and transformations to persist when the asset is dynamically replaced. Right-click on the image / video layer and select “Pre-compose...”; leave all attributes and click OK.
